David Tuffley is a Perth based stand-up comedian, having now performed both locally and interstate over the last eight years. Although he uses several comedic styles, he is best known for his well crafted, witty one-liners. David was a Triple J Raw Comedy state finalist in 2013 and 2014, at His Majesty’s Theatre. In 2013, David also made the state final of Green Faces Comedy Competition at the Charles Hotel. In the same year he performed at the Astor Theatre alongside the 92.9 Morning Crew and legendary Aussie comedian Peter Rowsthorn in Comedy for Kids which raised funds for Telethon. In 2014, David was a state finalist in the Funny Faces comedy competition at the Charles Hotel, receiving an honourable mention in the final. In a review for Shapiro Tuesdays at the Brisbane Hotel, Emma Bradstock wrote ‘David blew us away with his hilarious one-liners’. David also performed in Stand Up! For Comedy at the State Theatre Centre of WA in 2017, in support of Mental Health Week WA. Over the last four years, David has headlined the Nasty Show on many occasions, including Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.
