DJ Double Dee is a professional DJ and producer from Perth, Western Australia. He believes in playing the right music for the crowd to create an exciting party atmosphere. Reading the crowds response and interacting with the crowd, both through MC-ing and music is an important part of his set. He also brings a high level of technical skill to the decks. Combining traditional skills of hip-hop mixing in the vein of Grandmaster Flash and the ability to mix new and old favourites similar to modern innovators like DJ Z-trip. ‘Putting on a show’ is important to DJ Double Dee, rather than being ‘just the guy playing songs’. As such he takes pride in adapting to whatever is wanted by the crowd, the client or the promoter. He currently hold residencies at The Left Bank, Village Bar Subiaco, Botanica Bar and Bistro, Groove Bar Crown Casino and Purl Bar Subiaco.

  • Dan knows how to cater to a diverse crowd, the dance floor was going all night! We had lots of requests from family and friends in the weeks following the wedding as to who the DJ was. He’s also very organised during the planning stages, we are based in another city and could easily do our meetings over Skype and keep updated via email and phone. It made planning a wedding from afar stress free and we trusted that he was going to do an amazing job on the night, highly recommend him.
