Emma’s passion for dance music and record collecting originated on legendary Perth dance floors The Drum Club, Ambar, Dominion and The Loft. She then went on to play at clubs such as Amplifier/Capitol, The Leederville/Babushka, Blueprint Nightclub and Fringeworld. After moving to Hobart to become the official DJ for Taspride she also featured at Sydney Mardi Gras as well as event planning for the LGBTIQ community in Hobart, Sydney and Perth and now Busselton Pride.
Her years of industry experience has enabled Emma to wear a multiple of hats and provide quality services for weddings, private functions, festivals, birthdays and even kids parties. Prior to the event, Emma works with her clients to create the event in the client’s vision, from colour schemes to run sheets to creating catered set lists to set the tone throughout the evening – no ‘cookie cutter’ playlists here! DJ Emma has up to 8 cold spark units available with a running time of 5 minutes per load. These units are 100% safe indoors as no heat is generated. A fine metal substance is combusted to produce the firework effect, and leaves a small amount of cold powder residue. Outdoor units can throw fireworks 3-4m high wile the indoor units throw up to 2-3m high. Operators are insured and have public liability insuranc
