Leeroy, aka. Leigh Reid, is an up and coming singer and songwriter based out of Perth, Western Australia. Having played numerous gigs throughout Western Australia for the past three years as a solo acoustic artist, Leeroy has begun developing one of Perth’s most successful one man bands. Hopeless Romantic, Leeroy’s first EP, proved to be a huge success, combining catchy reggae and blues with his first hit song Right Girl, Wrong Time. Charting number 21 on the Unearthed Root Charts, Leeroy followed up with his second, more experimental EP, Burn To Ashes. After further development, he finally found the perfect balance of indie blues and electronic rock to write and produce his very first album, Fallen Empire.
Fallen Empire is the product of hours of writing and composing and bigger production budget to ensure the result is crisp, clean and perfect. Alternative indie pop rock vibes, Leeroy claims that Fallen Empire is his first masterpiece as it taps into a more modern genre than his previous singles. As Leeroy continues to combine psychedelic blues with hints of electronic, this album taps into synths, 808 beats, electric delay, slide guitars and so much more leaving the listener in a dreamy, trance-like space. Leeroy’s debut album “Fallen Empire” was released in June 2021.
