Illustrated illumination ignites the night air as towering dancers draped in glamorous garments laced with warm light flicker and dart guiding your eye from dusk to dark.
From afar the spiralling light traces play trickery on the gaze to emanate a magical almost ghostly scene; meanwhile those who draw close discover curious characters with many a trick and charm as they pause to engage with the public on their night promenade.

White Alight was commissioned in 2013 for ‘LUMINOUSnight’, a one-night celebration of art and culture to mark the centenary of the University of Western Australia.
