Hailing from Bon Scott’s old stomping ground, Perth, Western Australia, a supergroup of female musicians from some of Perth’s best original bands have united in the name of Rock n Roll – AC/DC style.
Scottish-born vocalist Kathryn Lamb, guitarists Krissy Sanfead and Selina Jayne Paul, bassist Jade Champion and drummer Lauren Reece make up this all female fun filled AC/DC salute band. Performing a great selection of Bon Scott’s finest, such as Can I Sit Next To You Girl, Jailbreak, TNT and the cheeky She’s Got Balls with an electrifying stage performance not to be missed.
Vocalist Kathryn Lamb is a consummate performer, perfect and complete in every respect. She is engaging, funny and above all can belt it out with bigger balls than most men.
“We really like to put on a good show so it’s safe to say expect it to be loud and entertaining,” says vocalist Kathryn Lamb.
The two guitarists Krissy and Selina share the lead work with ea playing to their strengths. Krissy is more of a shredder where as Selina is more bluesy. Together and with years of stage experience, they bring something new to the tribute/cover band experience.
“All the girls have played in some really great local original bands and it really tied in well with our influences and personalities” says Krissy Sanfead.
The rhythm section is one of the best you’ll find. With experienced, solid drummer, Lauren Reece and the talented bassist Jade Champion holding down the extremely important beat and timing….the foundations of the great AC/DC, you can’t help but move to the groove.
“From our first rehearsal you could really feel a fantastic energy so we’ve been continuing the show to pay our best respects towards one of the world’s greatest bands.” says Krissy.
