BROOKS are a modern acoustic duo hailing from the sunny west coast of Australia. The duo consists of Jana Chanelle (vocalist) and Matt Williams (guitarist) who have known each other since their time studying Contemporary Music at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Both musicians have spent the past 12 years performing with various acts across Australia and over seas accumulating a wealth of experience working and performing within the music industry.

This fresh new duo has kicked off 2019 performing relaxed Sunday sessions, private parties and pre show entertainment at the RAC Arena for ‘Mumford and Sons’. Their repertoire is an energetic mix of old school classics to freshly dropped modern hits of today, making this duo super versatile for any event. What separates ‘BROOKS’ from most duos is the use of the Boss loop station, allowing them to layer beats, melodies and harmonies live, which gives each song in their set an individual and dynamic personality giving this little duo a big sound!
