Introducing The Loverboys – a musical group that have played music together since primary school. Jayden (saxophone) and Jackson’s (piano) musical connection spans over a decade. The pair studied jazz under mentor James Morrison and both performed as artists at Generations In Jazz, the largest Jazz festival in the Southern Hemisphere, performing alongside the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and jazz giants Gordon Goodwin, Joey DeFrancesco and Kurt Elling.
Perth saxophonist Jayden Blockley is regarded as one of Australia’s upcoming Jazz talents, releasing originals and covering the very best of Jazz. Tony Gould (AM) described him as: “one of the most beautiful young musicians I have come across in years. A wonderfully gifted jazz saxophonist, he deserves every success, here and overseas.
