Five-piece contemporary jazz act performing their takes on jazz standards and modern classics.

A five-piece contemporary jazz act based in Perth, performing their unique take on jazz standards and contemporary songs. Their line up includes two saxophonists, Lindsay and Kyden, both professional performers that take the lead with the melody whilst adding harmonies to create that extra ‘sparkle’ to the tune. In addition, Flavio on piano, Chris on Guitar and Joel on Drums create a full sound supporting those melodies we all know and love.They are active members in Perth’s jazz scene performing at corporate events, pubs, private functions and community festivals including Mt Lawley Christmas Festival, Inglewood Night Markets, City of Perth New Years Eve Event and the Australian Cancer Council event as well as being active performers in Perth’s busking scene.

Kyden Bradley and Lindsay Pegrum study Saxophone at Churchlands Senior High School under the renowned Grant Rickman. Kyden is a member of the City of Perth Band and the Kalamunda Youth Swing Band and Lindsay is the lead alto saxophonist in the top wind and jazz orchestras at Churchlands. They have been a part of workshops with world class musicians including Dick Oats (musician, composer and educator), Troy Roberts (Grammy Nominated saxophonist and recording artist) and World Saxophone Competition (2003) winner and WAAPA lecturer, Jamie Oehlers.

Chris Jones is part of the Gifted & Talented Scholarship Program at Churchlands Senior High School, studying under Simon Jeans (International recording/session guitarist). He has performed at Perth’s well known Jazz hub, The Ellington Jazz Club and has also toured Japan.

Flavio Colonetti is an Italian classically trained piano player that now studies Jazz from pianist Chris Foster (four time winner of WAM Jazz Song of The Year, lecturer at WAAPA and composer) . Flavio also releases music on his own, fusing jazz and electronic music, reaching thousands of listeners. ”

Joel Drieberg is also part of the Gifted & Talented Music program at Churchlands High School. Not only a drummer, Joel is a classically trained percussionist including instruments Xylophone, Marimba and Timpani. Joel is a session player for one of Perth’s Rock cover bands Westley Goodlet Jamboree Scouts.
