Steph Cleary is a talented vocalist and multi-instrumentalist whose passion for music is evident in every moment of her performances. Her laid-back acoustic covers leave audiences captivated. Steph is capable of playing songs across many genres – from rock and pop to jazz and classical, and from many eras, but her real talent lies in taking songs and interpreting them in different ways to make them her own.
Steph grew up in Melbourne and from age two has been picking out tunes on the piano. She trained as a classical pianist, and started teaching herself guitar at age 7. After playing in rock and folk bands as a bass player, rhythm guitarist and singer, and singing at weddings, then starting out as a solo artist, she found the love of her life and moved to Perth. Steph is now loving being a part of the Perth music scene, playing at the Navy Club and the Market Bar in Fremantle as well as Coventry Pavilion, among others, and can be found busking at the Fremantle Markets or in Beaufort Street. She is available to play at pubs, cafes and restaurants, and at weddings and corporate functions.
