Perth born singer-songwriter Ruby Miguel spent the last year travelling around the world and crafting her new sound after a six year stint in Melbourne’s music scene. After releasing her single ‘Hey Henry’ in June comes a follow up single ‘Too Soon’ in November and an EP in 2021.

Villah is the second project from this driven and skilled vocalist, synth and piano player. In the last year, she moved to the UK to experiment with new sounds and develop her musical style. She found herself setting up in the beachside town of Brighton and collaborating with producer Luke May from South Lanes Studios. With themes of wanderlust, mental health and self love weaving their way through classic Rhodes sounds, wide reverb and thick harmonies, Villah’s music has been likened to London Grammar with a hint of Fiona Apple and touch of Elder Island.

Villah engages audiences with her soft and controlled yet funky vocal performances accompanied by her synth and piano chops. She is an experienced performer whose captivating live performances both as a soloist and with her session band is an asset to the dedication to her craft.
