Wings is a group of talented and professional aerial performers, creating outstanding visuals that leave the crowd in awe. Wings combines lyrical dance, clowning, diabolo, and aerial trapeze to create unique and show stopping performances for corporate and community events. From Outdoor Aerial shows to Black Tie Gala’s, Theatre shows to Street Shows, Intimate or Spectacular, Wings adapts to each and every event and can perform either as a soloist or with a troupe of experienced performers. Having pioneered aerial dance in WA since 2005, Dawn has performed at major arts festivals; with her feet in the red earth in the outback; at Community events; black tie balls; and many sunsets throughout WA.
WINGS have won many awards both locally and internationally, including Best WA Circus Show at Fringe World (twice) and The People’s Choice Award at Toronto Buskerfest; one of the largest Street Art festivals in the world.
Career Highlights:
– Performing to 3000 people per night at Canberra’s Enlighten Festival
– Winner of the Toronto Buskerfest 2013
– Producing a 5 week outback tour, and performing in Dry River beds and Cattle Yards.
– Choreographing 6 aerialists, 30 metres above the ground for the Joondalup Festival finale
– Performing in site specific locations for a month long tour for to the Pilbara and Gascoyne regions
– Touring the World – Norway, Ireland and Canada
