A former Australian wicketkeeper, Christina represented Australia from 1984 to 1995 and remains the country’s most capped female Test cricketer. She also holds the Australian record for the most Test dismissals by a wicketkeeper and served as vice-captain of the national team. Her experience as an elite athlete, combined with senior coaching and management roles across cricket, hockey, and Australian Rules football, has given her a unique understanding of high-performance environments and leadership.
Since becoming CEO of the WACA in 2012, Christina has overseen one of the most significant periods of transformation in Western Australian cricket. She has led major strategic initiatives including the transition of international cricket to Optus Stadium, the redevelopment of the historic WACA Ground, and a renewed focus on community engagement, diversity and inclusion, commercial growth, and long-term organisational sustainability. Her leadership has helped position the WACA for continued success while strengthening cricket’s connection with the wider community.
Widely recognised for her contribution to Australian sport, Christina was named WA Sports Administrator of the Year in 2022 and continues to serve on a number of influential boards and advisory groups, supporting leadership, gender equity, youth wellbeing, and the development of future sporting talent. She is also a passionate mentor, particularly for emerging female athletes and leaders, helping the next generation navigate pathways to success.
