Jenny Morris OAM is an accomplished company director, former corporate executive, and dual Olympic gold medallist whose career spans elite sport, executive leadership, governance, and business transformation. Drawing on experience across boardrooms and high-performance sporting environments, she is recognised for her expertise in leadership, strategy, organisational culture, and building resilient, high-performing teams.
Jenny has held senior leadership and governance roles across a diverse range of industries, including mining, financial services, healthcare, government, transport, and consumer sectors. She currently serves on the boards of several publicly listed and private organisations, including Sandfire Resources and Liontown Resources, following seven years as a non-executive director with Fortescue. Her board experience includes chairing remuneration and people committees while contributing to audit, risk, and sustainability governance.
Before her portfolio career, Jenny was CEO of Walk Free within the Minderoo Foundation and a partner at Deloitte, where she advised major organisations on strategy, governance, business transformation, and leadership. She has also served as Chair of Healthway and as a director of the Fremantle Football Club, further strengthening her reputation as a trusted leader across the public and private sectors.
Prior to her corporate career, Jenny captained the Australian women’s hockey team and won Olympic gold medals at the 1996 and 2000 Games. The leadership principles developed through elite sport continue to shape her approach to governance and executive performance, providing valuable insights into teamwork, resilience, decision-making, and leading through change.
