A former Fremantle player, Justin represented the club in 139 AFL games after being selected with the second pick in the 1998 National Draft. His playing career was cut short by injury, but the setback became the catalyst for a successful transition into coaching, where he quickly established a reputation for his strategic thinking and commitment to developing people.
Following coaching roles with Fremantle, the West Coast Eagles, and Collingwood Football Club, Justin returned to Fremantle as Senior Coach in 2019. He has since led the club through a significant period of renewal, focusing on building a strong culture, developing emerging talent, and creating the foundations for sustained long-term success.
Growing up in the Wheatbelt town of Koorda, Justin learned early the importance of community, resilience, and teamwork—values that continue to shape his leadership philosophy today. He is deeply committed to personal development and believes that investing in people is the key to building high-performing teams.
