We are a band composed of seasoned musicians with solid experience on the World Music, Soul, Jazz and Afrobeats scenes in Perth and internationally.
Drawing inspiration from Indian Ocean islands rhythms, Tchega will take you on a musical voyage with our stories, catchy beats and melodies.
Lead singer-songwriter, Miss Tchega, aka Carole Katz, crafts songs that call upon the island wisdom and sounds she grew up with, including the rhythmic and charming sega.
Sit back and soak up the island sun… that’s until you will get up and dance.
In addition to Tchega’s original music, the band plays covers from Creole artists and crowd’s favourite English songs with a Creole twist! We love sharing a good time and there’s a carefully crafted plan to get your guests on the dancefloor
